Jason Kesling began working for USRT in April, 2017. A graduate of Oregon State University in 2004, receiving a degree in Fish and Wildlife with a specialty option in Avian Ecology. After graduation, Jason worked for ODFW, Louisiana State University and Burns Paiute Tribe. Jason spent 13 years working for the Burns Paiute Tribe acting in multiple capacities; Wildlife Biologist, Wildlife Manager, and Natural Resources Director. The Environmental Program at USRT is responsible for multiple issues including climate change, dam licensing/relicensing, state and federal environmental policies and laws, tribal coordination on environmental and natural resources actions and water quality/quantity.
