Dom grew up hiking and canoeing on the island of Guam, where she developed a deep passion for shared lands and waters. She holds a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia. Her career spans public and private sectors, with experience in environmental analysis, planning, and policy research.
Most recently, Dom worked with the U.S. EPA’s Office of Community Revitalization and UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, where she researched urban greening policies to support equitable development along the LA River. Dom previously worked in sustainable shared mobility programs for the City of Los Angeles and the City of West Hollywood. She was part of LADOT’s Universal Basic Mobility Team where she supported the BlueLA electric car-sharing program.
Earlier in her career, Dom worked for Skeo Solutions, an environmental consulting firm specializing in revitalization planning for contaminated lands. While at Skeo, she supported the U.S. EPA’s Technical Assistance Services for Communities Program and the Superfund Redevelopment Program through community engagement, GIS mapping, graphic design, and site reuse planning. Dom is also a proud AmeriCorps alum, serving three terms with the National Park Service in Lava Beds National Monument, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and Death Valley National Park.
