Lauren Noeker

Environmental Specialist

Lauren grew up exploring the vastness of Idaho’s wilderness and other wild spaces around the Pacific Northwest. She has always had a keen interest in the function of the natural world and loves nothing more than collaborating with others to take care of our shared environment. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Boise State University and will be pursuing a Master’s of Earth Science – Emphasis in Hydrologic Science & Geology to expand her knowledge and skillset. She has had the opportunity to take part in environmental work in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, working in advocacy, environmental education and community engagement, and restoration. She’s looking forward to working with our tribal members and amplifying Indigenous knowledge in environmental conversations.

In her free time, Lauren can be found hiking, spending time with her friends and family, or capturing the beauty of the outdoors through her camera lens with her dog Tobias.
