Lauren grew up exploring the vastness of Idaho’s wilderness and other wild spaces around the Pacific Northwest. She has always had a keen interest in the function of the natural world and loves nothing more than collaborating with others to take care of our shared environment. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, a Master’s of Earth Science, and a Graduate Certificate in Human-Environment Systems. She has had the opportunity to take part in environmental work in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, working in advocacy, environmental education and community engagement, and restoration. She’s looking forward to working with our tribal members and amplifying Indigenous knowledge in environmental conversations.
In her free time, Lauren can be found outdoors hiking and biking, working in her garden, or cooking something new with her partner (and four-legged sous chef Tobias) to share with family and friends.
